confusion

ok, maybe someone can explain this to me...
i still get carded at almost every bar i go to...
i even get offered a KIDS menu now and then (usually when i'm out with parental types)...
and twice in the past week i get asked if i have any children!
i guess i have to stop turning beet red, laugh as if the person is joking, and then look at them with horror and then have a mild panic attack when that happens.
i guess there are people my age with children...i am just so so so not even close to there yet.
