ok, ok

a couple things happened...
i thought maybe this whole blog thing was just a phase. i hadn't even been checking blogs lately...
for one, my format is all screwed up. on my mozilla on my computer, i can't even see the beginnings of the sentences and i am oh so over the polka dots. maybe su can help me :).
number two, when my uncle passed away i really didn't feel like writing about it and i really didn't think it was "mine" to write about. i mean i have my own grief but when i try to imagine what my aunt and cousins and mom are going through, i can't even put my head around it to try to understand what they must feel like. but, it's not like i wanted to write about other things during that time. but, i think i'll indulge myself in the blogging for a bit more at least. this writer is back.
i am taking this awesome journalism class. i'm so glad i did it! i need something besides music to inspire me and occupy my head or else this blogger might go awol. the prof is so awesome and the whole class is abased around a lecture series at case by four different writer editors. one from al jezeera, one from the ny times, one from the baltimore sun, and one from npr. i am so excited about it! i think if i didn't go into music, i would have wanted to go into journalism.
don't think i'm too hard core, i'm fully aware that the pass/fail option ends tomorrow and i intend to take advantage of that option.
anyway it's beautiful outside today so i'm going to go take advantage of that!
